JROTC invades the Drop Zone

The three primary missions of the Golden Knights are to perform aerial demonstrations in support of the US Army Public Relations and Recruiting, compete in national and international competitions, and to research and develop modern parachuting techniques.

Today the Team was visited by the South Miami Senior High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps(JROTC). The Cadets are here to observe and talk with the Golden Knights about the US Army and more importantly, watch as their Principal, Mr Gilberto Bonce make a tandem skydive with the Golden Knights. The Cadets welcomed, in formation, as Mr Bonce landed and walked off the drop zone. The Cadets hold Mr. Bonce in high regard and were thrilled for his opportunity to exit the Golden Knight UV-18 Twin Otter.
