On Wednesday, the Black and Gold Demonstration teams worked together to put on a show for the Kids’ Golf Tournament at the Pinehurst Golf Course. At 6:30 PM, with a watchful eye on the clouds making their way in, the two teams exited the aircraft to build a formation in freefall, before opening their parachutes to show the crowds what they can do under canopy. Complete with a smoke chain under a two stack (two canopies stacked vertically), a tri-by-side (three canopies connected horizontally), and some great accuracy on target, the Golden Knights showed the wide range of skill within the team. Once back on the ground, the team presented a baton, took pictures, and signed autographs for those watching the show.
