Golden Knights Help Setet South Carolina Head Down Formation Record.

Carolina Fest came to an end a day early on sunday.  High winds prevailed throughout the day.  The weekend still turned out to be a great event.  Jumpers came from all over the country, and even all the way from Germany to jump at Carolina Fest. During the event 2,878 jumps were made over 170 loads flown by a Casa 212, Twin Otter, and a Pac 750XL. A new state Head Down record is now in place. Jumpers completed an official 14 way Head Down Formation, and an unofficial 18 way formation.  On the Jump were SSG Joe Abeln, from Tandem Team and SSG Reese Pendelton and SGT Jen Schaben from Gold Demonstration Team.

Heres a quick video of a few of the Record jumps. The photo is of the Record Holders just after the jump.
