Tandem Team finishes day 1 at Lakehurst, NJ #ArmyStrong #GoldenKnights

Day one of the Lakehurst, NJ tandem camp is in the books. The weather was beautiful for the start of our week long camp hosted by LTC Woodmansee, commander of the Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion. The event was kicked off by Master at Arms 2nd Class (MA2) Jack Mitchell by singing the National Anthem. The Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion invited the community to come out and see the Golden Knights. The Battalion setup the Army climbing wall, Hummvee’s and a display from the base fire department available for spectators to enjoy.

Mark Cottom and Paul Karwaski from Brandywine, Ken Hartman of Drexel University, Joe McCarthy of the Bloomfield, NJ Fire Department, Brett Vance from Abraham Lincoln High School, Jarrad Muller, Ryan Muller, Jessica McCreary and Scott Crurendun from the Excel Academy and Chris Callinan of Cherokee High School were the lucky participants of todays jumps.
