Para-Ski Update

The parachuting portion of the competition is complete and the results are being tabulated.  Not all of the placing is known but SGT Richard Sloan of the All American Freefall Team took 1st in Classic Accuracy with a total of 4 centimeters for two rounds.  The high temperature today was a whopping 70 degrees!  The snow was a little slushy but the jumping was great.  Later in the afternoon, SSG Laura Dickmeyer narrated while SFC Jason Spinnicchia of the USASOC Black Daggers, SSG Todd Beckel of the Golden Knights and SGT Richard Sloan of the All American Freefall Team performed a demonstration jump with smoke and flags for over 2,500 guests and staff on Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, NY.  The crowd was amazing and enjoyed every minute of it.  Tomorrow morning at 10 AM, the ski slalom runs kick off.  Check back for more pictures of the jumps and scores.
