Cincinnati Tandem Camp Day One #ArmyStrong #GoldenKnights

Tandem Team is in Cincinnati for day one of another tandem camp, unfortunately, weather has not wanted to cooperate with us.  Today’s passenger included Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis, Bengals coaching staff – Eric Ball, Kevin Coyle, Jeff Fitzgerald, and Darrin Simmons. Today the Army Cadet command invited staff from the University of Cincinnati and Army Recruiting command invited local colleges and high school staff. The passengers arrived on time and received their introductions and classes while team members were checking the weather. The weather began to clear as the training class ended, so team members jumped on board our UV-18 Twin Otter to make a demonstration jump for the passengers. All the ground equipment was setup and no sooner did the plane begin to taxi down the runway, it began to rain. So Tandem team jumped into action and began giving classes on parachute and video equipment. All the while everyone was looking outside to see if the rain had stopped and the clouds cleared. It was not meant to be though. It turned out to be a great day though visiting with the passengers.
