Day 5 Switzerland:Silver for USA and Bonnie Tyler performs

This was the final day for the Style competition, and SFC Tennyson did not let up for the charge for the gold. SFC Tennyson, SFC Nichols and LTC Reichel(USAF) were the jumpers to reach the final round in Style. We watched the big screen on the dropzone, waiting for the video of her style set to play. The video from the other jumpers played and displayed the ranking, it was apparent that SFC Tennyson would place 2nd. When her video played the entire Team was there to watch. The final result was 2nd place and unnoficially claiming the Silver medal for Style.

The women and men both did 2 rounds of accuracy today, SSG Acevedo earned his first dead center in a competition. SFC Tennyson is currently tied for 5th going into the 7th round. Its a very competitive competiton with Italy, which has only 3cm. The girls are hanging in there with 5th place in accuracy.

Both the mens and womens team also completed two rounds of 4way. The girls are still in 1st place, while the men hold on to 5 place.

Today the Belgium 4way team broke the world record for 4way competition by posting and amazing 45 point round. We were also treated to a concert by Bonnie Tyler, famous for the song ” I Need a Hero”. Over 1000 people attended from the local town, Stans. She played all her hits and the Swiss loved it.

Thats it from Switzerland today. We have 2 more days of competition left. If the weather holds out we should complete all the events by Friday evening.
