Chas (five and a half years old), of Addison, TX, helps SFC Eric Heinsheimer pack his parachute between jumps
The third and fourth grade students at Green Hill School in Addison, TX got a very special surprise during recess today. As the kids played outside, a few of them noticed that there were Black and Gold parachutes floating gracefully overhead…and within seconds, the entire playground was crowding the sidelines of the school’s soccer field where the Golden Knights Tandem Team members were landing. The Tandem Team is in Addison this week conducting a tandem camp for keynote speakers of the bloggers’ conference “OpenCamp,” as well as many other influential people of Addison, including the mayor, Mr. Joe Chow, and Green Hill School athletic director Mr. Earl Dorber.
The Tandem Team will be jumping all day tomorrow starting at 10:00am. They will jump into the Green Hill School Homecoming football game at 7:00pm, then perform a night pyrotechnics demonstration jump at 8:15pm.

I would like to get a picture of the Gold Team if possible. I was a (PJ) in the US Air force and a parachute team member in ParaRescue from 1964 – 1972. I was grounded for high blood pressure.. During that time I saw the Golden Knights jump several time.
Please advise me on how I might get a team picture.

Rachel, Thank you for sending the pictures and the link to the blog:) I forwarded it to family, friends, and his principal and teacher at school. His picture with SFC Heinsheimer made the Greenhill Facebook also!!!!!
Our family went to the football game last night and Chas said”THere’s my friend Rachel with the football!” and when you jumped with the sparklers again he said, “That’s my friend Rachel!!” Thank you for being so kind to him and answering his questions. Watching your team in action was a great experience for him (and his parents too!!).
